Little and Often

the snow…

…is beginning to melt and my poor snowman has lost his head. The thaw does mean I’m not snowed in anymore but I am a bit sorry. Not being able to go anywhere has been good for me. Until this morning the postman hasn’t even been able to get up the lane. All very relaxing. more »

i love…

…my new dishwasher. Getting him could have been an example of struggleless living. Since Copenhagen had begun to leak I’d had my eyes open for his successor. In Safeway with N last weekend I saw some cheap ones that they do have advertised from time to time but that I’ve never actually seen on the more »

snow day…

…and it has been fun. I was supposed to take my mother to the hospital to a clinic but, happily in Wales, a few inches of snow brings everything to a halt. Actually it has been quite a few inches. It’s my third winter out here in the hills and this is the deepest I’ve more »

i cut my nails…

…this morning. Whilst it hasn’t been ten months since I last did them, cutting them is something that is largely in the same category as ironing. I also opened my window to air my bed before making it. I’ve been thinking of other things I haven’t been doing and might now. So, when I’m not more »

I'm Michael Nobbs, an artist, blogger and tea drinker (not necessarily in that order).

I'd like to show you that it is possible to stay creative even when energy is in short supply, and how working on small creative acts on a regular basis can build over time into a substantial body of work (and even a creative career).

I've written a book called Sustainable Creativity. You're welcome to pay whatever you would like for it.

Delve a little deeper by becoming a member. If you'd like to delve a little deeper into the material offered here on Sustainably Creative, find out about becoming a member.

My new book, Getting Your Important Work Done, is currently free for members to download.
