I suppose one out of four isn’t bad, but I don’t think it shows much in the way of high energy. At least my laptop will be a lot zippier now I’ve ordered some RAM. VERY glad to see the weekend.

I’m trying to maintain a feeling of momentum this week and do at least one thing each day that feels like it moves my work on. I’m happy if it something small. Today it was something big, at least in terms of dimensions; I printed out a drawing on the new large scale printer. Alice more »
simplicity reminder
I happened upon a book in the “books in translation” section of the university bookshop yesterday. The drawings are wonderfully uncomplicated. I’m going to carry it around with me over the next few months as a reminder of how important it is to keep things simple. I do think that I find the urge to more »
new year, new list
I’m a great believer in lists. I sat eating breakfast with another list believer and we made one each containing all we wanted to accomplish over the next academic year. My fellow list advocate had a far more impressive array of aims, but I’m quite fond of mine. I’ve no idea what happened to number more »
