I bought myself a bag of flour yesterday, and before I went to bed I spent five minutes using some of it in my breadmaker, so that I could wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread this morning.

Tidying my tea cupboard (I have a LOT of tea!)

My energy is still on the rise thankfully, though I’m still taking it easy, having plenty of naps, and drinking a lot of tea.

I’ve got a family visit next week so I want to make sure I’ve got some spare energy to deal with that and also have a reasonably tidy house.

Five simple strategies for getting through a low energy slump.


Forgetting about the big picture (and just concentrating on the next small step)

I’m slowly emerging from my latest low energy slump. At times I’ve not been particularly brave about this one, feeling frustrated and annoyed (and not the best company!), but little by little I have moved through it.

Increasingly I think feeling frustrated and crabby is just part of the process, sitting around serenely waiting to feel better simply doesn’t work for me.
