Start to Draw Your Life

I noticed a couple of days ago that my little free ebook, Start to Draw Your Life has just passed 4000 downloads. I released the book as an ebook just under a year ago and so am delighted that it is still proving popular.

Start to Draw Your Life is now available as a free eBook to download

Both were downloadable via Flickr to print out and make at home. Today I’m releasing an updated version of both books as a combined free eBook to download.

marmite

Here’s a good trick to get some drawing done.

  1. Pick a room in your house
  2. Set a timer for twenty minutes
  3. Quickly open cupboards, look on shelves, open drawers, etc and gather together ten things to draw. Don’t think about what you pick, just gather ten things.

Why I Love Moleskines (and some resources)

moleskine350

One of the questions I’m asked most frequently on Twitter is, why do I mention Moleskine sketchbooks so much (and why they are my own sketchbook of choice). I thought, rather than answering the question over and over again, I’d write a blog post that I can easily refer people too.

A holiday card and stocking fillers to download (and a Beany offer)

I’m beginning to feel very festive. I’ve been baking cakes and other goodies over the weekend, the radio on, enjoying all the Christmasy tunes (and even dancing a little). I’ve also been having fun making my Christmas card. If you’d like to download some to send I’ve just put it up on Flickr with some more »
