Sustainably Creative by Michael Nobbs

Little and Often

Help me sell The Beany (and earn 51% of the cover price)

Help me sell The Beany (and earn 51% of the cover price)One of the most exciting things about working as an artist online is how the web offers us new ways to promote and sell our work.

No longer is up to powerful gatekeepers like gallery owners, publishers and distributors to decide who sees what, but rather (with some hard work admittedly!) we can produce, publicise and distribute our own work.

Moreover, success doesn’t have to be dependent on being picked up and reviewed by the big media. Instead a quiet word whispered in a corner of the blogosphere by a supportive voice can lead to another and then another spreading the word.

One quiet voice can make a difference

Today I’m asking if you become one quiet voice mentioning my work in your particular corner of the web. If you have a blog, twitter account or are on Facebook then I’m asking you to spread the word about The Beany #4. If you join my new affiliate program you’ll earn 51% of the cover price of $4.95 for ever copy you help to sell.

It’s easy to join the affiliate program. Just click here.

How to Put a Link on Your Site

If you’re writing a review of The Beany, or just want to get your affiliate link to put anywhere (in your sidebar, on Twitter, on Facebook, in an email newsletter, etc.), follow these instructions to get your affiliate link code (with thanks to Leo Babauta over on Zen Habits for these instructions):

  1. Log in to your affiliate account at E-junkie.
  2. Under “Manage Your Affiliate Account”, select “Get Affiliate Code”.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select “michaelnobbs dot com” and then click on the “Get Affiliate Code” button.
  4. Under “Get Product Specific Affiliate Links”, select “The Beany #4″ and click the “Get Affiliate Code” button.
  5. Highlight and copy the html code within the yellow button. This html code should be pasted into the HTML editor of your blog editor (such as WordPress) or in your sidebar widget or wherever you plan to use it. You can edit the text within the link, which by default says “Click here to view more details” … you can change it to whatever you’d like it to say.

How to use an image with your link

You’re welcome to use any of the images below to help promote the book. First, download the image you’d like to use and then upload it to your blog’s server. Then place the image in your sidebar template or sidebar widget with your affiliate link code, like so:

<a href=”[YOUR AFFILIATE LINK]” title=”The Beany 4”><img border=”0″ src=”[YOUR IMAGE URL]” alt=”The Beany 4”/></a>

Payment

You’ll be paid 51% of all sales made from your affiliate links.

Payments will be made on the first of every month for sales in the previous month. So, for example, all sales made in May will be paid on 1st June.

All affiliate payments are made via Paypal, so you’ll need to have a Paypal account to sign up to become an affiliate.

If you need any help joining the affiliate program or setting up your links just get in touch and I’ll do my best to help.
