#1431: [Video] A walk with Ounce and pondering on the conversations we can have with books

Ounce about to join me on a walk

Apologies in advance for the sound quality in a couple of places in this week’s video. It was windier than I thought at the top of the hill and the rain on my studio roof during the work session was surprisingly loud. I hope this doesn’t lessen your enjoyment too much.

This week Ounce has joined me on my walk. We're keeping it simple and going for a stroll around my hillside here in Wales. We'd love it if you'd join us.

Join me in my studio after the walk for a twenty-minute creative work session. This week I'm making a little more progress on my crocheted blanket and an pondering on the conversation we can have with books and authors, conversations that can make our world feel a little bigger.

The books I mention in the podcast

  • 4.50 from Paddington by Agatha Christie

  • Life in a Day by Doris Grumbach

  • The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer

  • The Lady Hardcastle series by T E Kinsey

  • The Return to the Hundred Acre Wood by David Benedictus

If you’re listening to the podcast off-site, you can find the video version here.

Today's work session is fourteen minutes and twenty seconds into the podcast. What are you going to be working on?
